This quick release plate allows you to freely standardize all your equipment with one standard size plate, thus enables you to move your camera from one equipment to another quickly without the need to remove the release plate on your camera base.
There is a safety latch to prevent accidental slippage of your equipment.
You can mount your system with this item directly onto a video tripod (with 3/8" screw) or a camera tripod (with 1/4" screw) using the supplied free 3/8" to 1/4" adapter.
