The dummy battery has the latest built-in advanced decoding circuit which allows power display level on the camera. With D-Tap on the other end, it allows you to use V-mount battery to power up your camera and help to extend your camera's shooting time without the need of frequent changing of batteries. The dummy battery is the same size as the original battery, hence there is no risk of it getting stuck inside the battery compartment.
